Turbines

At Mega Techno Venture, we provide expertise in two primary types of steam turbines used in industrial and power applications—Backpressure and Condensing turbines. Each serves a unique function based on process requirements and energy optimization goals.

1. Backpressure Turbines
Backpressure turbines are widely used in industries where steam is needed for both power generation and industrial processes. These turbines exhaust steam at a usable pressure for heating or other applications, making them ideal for sugar mills, paper plants, and chemical industries. They are energy-efficient, cost-effective, and support cogeneration systems by utilizing steam for multiple purposes.

2. Condensing Turbines
Condensing turbines, on the other hand, are primarily used for large-scale power generation. They exhaust steam at a pressure lower than atmospheric pressure, converting maximum thermal energy into mechanical power. These turbines are ideal for standalone power plants where steam is not required after power generation. They offer higher efficiency and are best suited for operations aiming for maximum electricity output.
